Hello! My name is Megan Beck and I am so happy you found my site!
I was born and raised in Northern California but moved to Florida with my wonderful husband, Josh, in 2019. I received my Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Sonoma State University in Northern California and my Master's of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University in Illinois. Between undergrad and graduate school, I spent 3 years working as a behavior technician for Autistic children in a variety of settings. This is how I found my passion and love for all things speech, language, and communication. There is nothing I love more than being a part of those "AH-HA" moments with families and children as they understand new concepts, produce new or challenging sounds, or use new words.
My therapy approach is always family-centered and relationship based. My primary goal is to build a relationship with my clients so they feel safe, confident, and excited to participate in speech therapy. I believe that children learn best from people they trust and feel understand them. My top priority will always be the wellbeing of the children I work with.
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve this wonderful community. Owning my own private practice was always a dream, but now it's my reality!
